A collaboration between artists Nadia Ahmed and Shannon Hobbs, See Through examines the ephemerality of relationships. The work plays on ideas of perspective, transparency, reflection, and accumulation between oneself and the memory of another. The artists use wax to show the emotional weight of what it feels like to try to hold a relationship together over time. They question what happens when a message goes unanswered. The audience is invited to explore being seen, or unseen, in the show. How much do you give or take in a relationship?
